This ‘sane’ world does not allow us to wear fancy and dress up every day and that is why there are fancy dress parties. I know some people who grump to wear a fancy costume even in Halloween parties but I also know people like us who simply cannot miss a single fancy dress party or comic-con and why?, well because we are fancy, we love being fancy and we would wear fancy dress costumes to work if they allow us to. But the world is supposed to be ‘sane’ and not delightfully weird so we got to wait for these parties and occasion or a day alone at home. 1. Don’t afraid to be the geek you are: Always wanted to be a pirate, fight fellow pirates and go on those sea voyages to dig up treasures? Don’t hold back, get in some classic pirate costumes and be the fanciest one in the party. Does not have to be a pirate always but dress up the geek inside of you.
2. Get the real deal: Nobody is going to take you for a superhero if your superhero costume looks like one taken out from a kid’s store. See the details in the fancy dress costumes you buy, make sure they are up to the mark and give you a real appeal.
3. Make an entrance: the fanciest people always have entries. Don’t forget to chant your favourite lines, spells, sounds or imitate any specific gestures of the character you are supposed to be while entering the party. You will not only be remembered but able to live the character in front of people like you always wanted to.
